ELECTRIC VEHICLE REBATES
Drive Free for a Year
The Drive Free for a Year program is an incentive to take that extra step in becoming more environmentally friendly. Carroll EMC Members who choose to purchase a 100% electric vehicle (EV) are eligible to drive free for the first year of ownership.
Qualified Members who lease or purchase a new plug-in 100% EV could qualify for a monthly credit of $30 on their power bill to cover the cost of charging the EV for one year.
Home Charger Rebate
Carroll EMC Members who enroll in the Drive Free for a Year program, or who currently own an EV, are also eligible for a one-time reimbursement if they install a home charger at their place of residence. Saving money now as well as long-term is just another perk of owning an EV.
Qualified Members who install a new Level 2 NRTL/UL approved electric vehicle charging station could qualify for a one-time rebate of $250.00.
Your electric cooperative is always looking for ways to better assist you and your needs, and for Members who have multiple accounts, we have developed a way to make your life easier!
The invoice billing option from Carroll EMC gives you the choice to receive one bill for all your accounts. Instead of receiving multiple, individual bills at the end of each of cycle, you can choose to receive one statement that combines the totals of each account—and we do the math for you. This makes paying your electric bills much easier by having a snapshot of your accounts in one place and only having to make a single payment. Smart. Seamless. Simple.
Those enrolled in this option can log in to the Member Portal at carrollemc.com to view individuals bills and a breakdown of each statement at any time. Your invoice bill may be received by electronic email or printed through the mail. No matter your preference, this environment friendly option just makes sense.

SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT
We offer our Members over the age of 62 a discount of up to $2.50 per month. To sign up, you can fill out the electronic form, or you can fill out the application to bring by one of our offices.
WATER HEATER REBATE
To encourage the purchase and installment of energy-efficient electric water heaters, Carroll EMC offers Members rebates for each qualifying installation.
New construction homes: $100 for each new electric water heater installed. Rebate must be requested within six months of the service order date. Rebate is issued to the party submitting the temporary-to-permanent service order.
Existing homes: $100 for replacing a gas water heater with an electric one. Member is responsible for all costs associated with changing heaters.
Claim a Rebate
To receive a rebate check from Carroll EMC, the following must be submitted on the online application: an invoice or purchase receipt for the water heater, a picture of the water heater installed, and a picture of the serial number on the water heater. Checks are issued within 10 business days.
