Powering bright futures
The Bright Ideas program awards grants of up to $1,000 to public school teachers in grades pre-K through 12 for innovative classroom projects that enhance student learning. Applications are accepted annually from August through October, with recipients selected through a blind review process conducted by the Carroll EMC Foundation Trustees.
Before Submitting Your Application
Before you submit your application, consider these tips from our Foundation Trustees.
- DO NOT include anything that identifies you or your school in the application. Grants are blindly graded and judged by the Foundation Trustees.
- DO NOT wait until the last minute to apply. Take your time gathering all of the required information. The more details provided, the better!
- ASK QUESTIONS! The only wrong question is the one not asked. Reach out to our Community Relations team if you have questions or concerns of any kind.
Funds MUST be used for the project applied for.
