Save Money by Shifting Your Usage

The time-of-use (TOU) rate is an optional rate that offers Members the opportunity to save money by shifting their electricity usage to off-peak hours.

While the standard residential rate is a consistent $0.0107/kWh, the TOU rate offers variable energy costs based on usage periods shown below:

• Super off-peak energy = $0.0467/kWh
• Off-peak energy = $0.0845/kWh
• On-peak energy = $0.3313/kWh

The TOU rate is an excellent option for electric vehicle users or anyone looking to save money by shifting their electricity usage to off-peak hours. Members will be able to sign up for this rate beginning February 1, 2025, by contacting Member Services at 770-832-3552.
