A Message from CEO, Tim Martin
During this unprecedented time for many of our Members and communities we serve, Carroll EMC is keeping safety our number one priority. We have taken measures to distance our workforce, whether in the office, at home or in the field. With more than a decade of investment in better technology, we are able to maintain the operations of the cooperative and adhere to the strategies set forth by Governor Kemp and our area health boards for public utilities. The safety of our employees and those we serve is of utmost importance.
I would also like to emphasize our commitment to reliability. While certain projects may be slowed or put on hold, Carroll EMC will continue to support electric service across all six counties we serve. This will be a priority as spring approaches and ushers in storm-season. At this time, we will continue to operate our drive-thru at all office locations, utilize our mobile apps, update our website and social media, and use our phone and outage lines to continue operations and ensure reliable service.
Lastly, Carroll EMC will remain a great corporate citizen and community partner. As first responders, our linemen and office personnel often assist medical, rescue and emergency professionals. Whether physically, emotionally, financially or with other resources, Carroll EMC will be there. We will continue to evaluate our role in helping defeat COVID-19.
For more timely information, follow us on social media and check our website. If you have an outage, use the Carroll EMC mobile app or call 770-832-3552. And as always, be aware of scammers during these times.
